Old Florida Museum is pleased to announce the Home School Day Experience.
February 1, 2, 3 and 4th 2022

We are offering 4 days of our Homeschool Day Experience due to an overwhelming request during this unusual time. You will cycle thru 4 different programs during the day starting at 10:00am and ending at 2:00pm. Programs include:
Spanish Program				Dirt Detectives (Archaeology) Program
Homestead Pioneer Program			Timucua Indian Program

Each day’s itinerary is identical:
9:00 	Gates Open
9:30—10:00 check in
10:00 First Program
10:45 Second Program
11:30-12:30 Lunch Break
12:30 Third Program
1:15 Forth Program

IMPORTANT: We are only allowing a maximum of 50 persons per day and will have two groups of up to 25. 
We are only offering 50 tickets per day to help with social distancing. This will allow us to have two groups of 25 or less in each program at any one time.
Due to the limited number of tickets available per day we cannot guarantee there will be tickets available at the door on the day of the event. It is advised you purchase all tickets needed in advance to assure your participation.

Registration starts at 9:30 and your first of five programs leave at 10:00 sharp. Each tour will be approximately 40 minutes. There is also a 60 minute lunch break so guests should plan to spend the day to visit the entire museum complex. This interactive experience is designed to expose students to daily living activities of the Timucua Indians, early Spanish settlers, exploration on the high seas and Florida Pioneer children, as well as the field of archaeology. 
All guest entering the museum must purchase a ticket including students and adults.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 
The cost is $19.95 per person for ages three and up. 

Costumed Guides will provide history and instruction in the use of tools and games for each historical time period.  Participants will also complete a take-home projects. Old Florida Museum includes a Spanish house, a Florida Homestead Cracker house, 70’ Spanish Caravel Sailing Ship replica and a mock archaeological dig,.
It is recommended you bring a boxed lunch. Coolers are welcome.
