This year we opened our single room pioneer school. Guests can sit at a wooden desk to do their ciphering, and write with a quill pen.

The Old Florida General Store reopened its doors after a lengthy remodeling. Now visiting students can purchase tasteful souvenirs and historical items that parents and teachers will be pleased with.  Educational resources and historical games are available to teachers.

The Florida Native sheep have been moved to a local farm for a sabbatical.  We hope to have some little lambs in the near future.

This summer we poured the tabby floor in the Spanish house.  We utilized the smashed oyster shells produced by visiting students over the past year.  The roof was re-thatched, and a loft was built.  We are presently erecting lap board siding walls, and hope to have it finished by the fall.
